Mr. Gildea has over 24 years of diversified experience
in consulting, accounting, purchasing, and contract management.
He began his career as an auditor for KPMG Peat Marwick working
with firms in the health care, construction, retail, non-profit,
and governmental industries. While working for KPMG, Mr. Gildea
also earned his CPA license. From there, he spent
six years in various Accounting and Purchasing positions for Dun
& Bradstreet, and in his seven years with CheckFree Corporation
was responsible for Procurement, Contract Management, Travel, Real
Estate, and the copycenter/mailroom function.
As President of Profitability Consultants, Mr.
Gildea is poised to bring his wide array of experiences to your
company. Whether it is implementing a travel program, assisting
in the implementation of a new financial software package, establishing
a process improvement team for the procurement (Purchasing through
Accounts Payable) function, or negotiating a commodity contract,
a mainframe computer software license, or a real estate lease, Mr.
Gildea has the background that can assist your company. His forte
is cost savings, but often times it is the process that causes the
issues for the end user. Profitability Consultants will be there
to ensure that the process fits for whatever programs are implemented.
Mr. Gildea is a graduate of Bentley College outside
Boston, MA, where he earned a BS in Accountancy,
and an AS in Management.
